Where the butterflies roam free.....it's where the Calendar Girls are this month! Our hostess is, Linda. She challenged us to use a butterfly in our card creation, as she likes them and they hold special meaning to her.
I had to take to my image files and hope that I had an image that would suffice. I found one! I had a butterfly image from Taylored Expressions, so that is the one that I used.
I colored and Stickled the butterfly, then fussy cut him. I decided it was a him! I paired it with a DP that I had on hand and added a cute glittery butterfly I received in a card kit.
I closed my eyes {not really} and did a 'Jeanette stamp directly on the DP' again and I am two for two! I should probably stop that now, I am going to have to mess up soon! LOL
I hope you are all having a good week!

Tami--what a great card--one of your best IMHO! Love the patterned paper and way to go on stamping right on it. I have to try that and see if I am successful too. Great butterfly and love the bling on the wings!
Oh Tami - your "boy" butterfly is gorgeous and sparkly and your card is amazing! I don't think you should quit that "Jeanette thing" you did........ you won't mess up and it looks very nice! ;)
What a beautiful card. I love your butterfly. I have to laugh about the Jeanette thing. I'm always nervous to stamp directly too.
