Father Time

I was going through some DP the other day and came across the DP I used on this card.  It made me think of an image that I received in a SCS swap and how the two would go together well.  I am always in need of more masculine type cards, so this will work perfectly.  Here is the card:

The image is from Stampin' Up! Thinking of Father set, circa 2004.  I colored the image with Copic Markers.  I then used Nestabilities to emboss and cut the image.  I then distressed the paper with Stampin' Up! Creamy Caramel ink.  I used dimensionals to raise the image from the card.

The card stock base is Speckletone paper in Chocolate.  The second layer is Stampin' Up! Mint Melody, that I ran across the Creamy Caramel ink pad to make it look a little more bluer rather than green, so it would match the blue in the DP.   The picture depicts the paper as more green than the actual blue that it is. The DP is K & Company Classic K Margo mat pad.

I had the eyelets, brads and ribbon on hand.  I trimmed the edge with an EK Success Edger Punch.
