Crafters of Faith Blog Hop

Welcome to my first ever blog hop!   What in the world am I doing a blog hop for you may ask.  Well, I am fortunate enough to have become a part of a great group of girls on SCS, Crafters of Faith and to celebrate our new group we are hosting a blog hop.

The Crafters of Faith blogging group is a joyous blending of christian friends ~ joined together to fellowship, share our faith, build friendships and craft together!  I have met some great new friends and am enjoying some existing friends in our group.

Our group hostess this month is Carol S! She gave us a wonderful Harvest challenge and here is what she asked us to create:

"I love FALL, the colors and the smells! I would like to propose that we make a card with fall colors, it should include fruits and vegetables to remind us of the harvest. When my kids were small, I canned peaches and pears, made pickles and such. So much fun to open those jars in the dead of winter! I am looking so forward to the fall festival of Sukkoth (Feast of Tabernacles). To Biblical historians, this is the actual time of Christ's Birth and many people believe this will also be the season of HIS return. Blessings All!"

This was the perfect challenge to go with our September verse:

Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming.  See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.   James 5:7

I chose to work with a Stampin' UP! set that I have had forevah!  It is Bountiful Blessings, circa 1999!  Yep, pretty much older than dirt!   Here is the final card for Carol's challenge:

Are you so ready to get this party started or continue on hopping?!  Here is the blog hop order.  You should have arrived here from Kadie's blog.   Your next stop will be Barb's blog.

We have a few girls who are very busy right now and could not participate in the hop.  Please keep them in your thoughts and I am sure you will be able to view their crafty creations in the future.

If you would like to start the blog hop from the beginning, please visit Carol's blog for the entire list of blog hop links.  Be sure to visit our last hopper Kelly's blog for a chance to win a blog hop prize!

Stunning! Very dramatically colored and it all came together so nicely! Love the DP panel, and the orange peaking through across the top. The sentiment is perfect as well. I am so glad that you are in the COF!
