Dueling Darlings - April

Hello and welcome to the Dueling Darlings from SCS monthly post!  Some might look at today as 'tax day' but we all know that cards are more important, right?!   ;)

Kadie, was our hostess this month.  She sent an adorable kit with an image from My Favorite Things.  This A la Mode Polished to Perfection is so cute!   Perfect for the Diva's theme of Girl's Day Out.

The first thing I thought of is my favorite nail polish OPI, which the bottle the image is holding looks just like.  The second thing I thought of, is I really need to do my toes!  The OPI color names make me laugh.  Will it be 'I'm Not Really a Waitress' or 'Queen of deNile' this time?!

Included in the challenge is a request to share who our longest besties are and our favorite thing to do with them.  I feel so fortunate to have such good friends, from back in the day and more recent years.

My two oldest friends are the Eye Batter {remember she could get us out of most anything by batting her eyes} and my Eat Pray Love friend {who is on a living her life journey and finally stateside}.  While we have not lived close in proximity for years, or do not communicate daily, we always pick up right where our sassy selves left off!  Thankfully, cellular phones were not the thing back then - you know that would mean pictures - which in turn would be documentation of trouble!  We couldn't have that!  It does make me think of this song!

Please be sure and stop by the entire Dueling Darlings group.  Their blog links are on the right sidebar.

Have a great day!

Ultra sweet!! What a great image to work with and those papers - WOW! I like the variations in colors you achieved on the polish bottle and on her dress! Very cool!

I'm in total agreement about the lack of documentation from years past. Thank heavens for that! LOL

Hugs!
